Choosing a church is possibly one of the most important and difficult of all the choices we make. It has enormous potential to enrich our lives.

Here at Faith UCC you will find an extravagant welcome. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve been or where you’re going, hospitality is the word. The atmosphere here is what we choose to call “sacred casual.” That is, sacred enough to feed your spirit, yet free enough to allow you to be comfortable.

All the elements are here. A vibrant worship, a complete Christian Education program for all ages, and an array of service projects that will feed your soul; including Habitat for Humanity, CROP Walk and Meals on Wheels.

There is a sense of importance and excellence here at Faith. A sense that we are important to God and one another, and that our work can be excellent visible examples of the usually invisible grace of God. We feel our hands, feet and hearts to be those of Jesus. Our hands reach out, our feet carry our neighbor’s burden from time to time, and our hearts are sources of healing.

I wish you well and godspeed on your journey to a new church home. I pray too, that you will consider joining us for worship sometime soon.

And as you go on, may you be surprised by God’s love. And may the joy that only God’s love can bring smear a smile across your face that you can share with all who see you. May there be a sparkle in your eye, a giggle in your heart and a skip in your step. May there be some life in your soul and some soul in your life. May your tears and your smiles be the signs of God’s light and life in your midst. May laughter keep you ever young…..and may the Holy Spirit shape your days …..now…..
